Momentos únicos

Una semana sin actualizar mi blog. Todo un récord.
Y no ha sido por falta de actividad, ha sido por falta de motivación.
Mis padres me han succionado y dado una sobredosis de atención tal que no he podido seguir el ritmo.
No puedo contaros todo lo que hemos estado haciendo y por otro lado, no quiero hacerme repetitiva diciendo una y otra vez lo feliz y orgullosa que me siento por tener la familia que tengo, opinión que se hace extensiva al resto de mis amigos aquí, que han tenido la oportunidad de pasar unas horas con ellos.

Pero si queréis ver fotos, que sé que sí, os enseñaré cada uno de los momentos claves que hemos tenido:


Las comidas. Estar con mis padres es sinónimo de engordar. La buena comida y el buen vino son requisitos indispensables para ellos. Y San Francisco pone todo su empeño en ofrecer una lista de sitios donde poder disfrutar de unos platos y unos sitios maravillosos.
Lo mejor: bajar la comida en una excursión por Bernal Heights, y si el día es tan bonito como el de la foto y lo acompañamos con unos cazas que sobrevuelan la ciudad celebrando no sé qué, entonces el momento es único.


Un día en Monterey. Por segunda vez para mi madre y para mí, volvimos a este pueblecito con tanto encanto donde las alcachofas y los leones marinos salen hasta por debajo de las piedras.
Lo mejor: conducir por la Highway 1 bordeando el mar.


La luna llena en Point Bonita. Organicé un viaje para celebrar mi cumpleaños en una faro a orillas del Pacífico. Un lugar mágico donde puedes ver el atardecer y la salida de la luna prácticamente al mismo tiempo. Llevamos Rioja, jamón serrano, fuet, berberechos, queso y demás productos españoles.
Lo mejor: estar todos juntos bajo la luna llena y ver cómo mis padres son capaces de adaptarse a cualquier situación.


De nuevo en Napa Valley. No podía permitir que mi padre se fuera sin enseñarle la que probablemente sea el área de mayor producción de vino de USA. Greg nos acompañó y nos hizo de guía turístico. Vimos las viñas de Sterling y probamos sus vinos.
Lo mejor: el recorrido en teleférico por los viñedos y la ubicación de la masía en un lugar de ensueño.

Y ahora... de nuevo solita, pero muy feliz.
Qué bueno es sentirse querida...

One week past and I haven´t updated my blog. That's a record...
I haven't been able to do it, not because a few activity but because a few motivation.
My parents sucked my time and gave me such overdosis of attention that I couldn't keep the rythm.
I can't explain everything and I don't want to reapeat myself saying how lucky, happy and proud I feel to have this family, opinion extended by the rest of the people who had the chance to meet them.
Attached you guys will find pictures of one of some wonderful moments we all spent together:

- The meals: being with my parents it means to gain weight. Good food and good wine is necessary and San Francisco offers tons of wonderful places for that.
The best: walking off the food in Bernal Heights in a beatiful day.

- A day in Monterey. It was the second time for my mother and me in this tiny little town where the sea lions and the artichokes are probably the most common things.
The best: driving through the Highway 1 across the Pacific Coast.

- The full Moon in Point Bonita: celebrating my birthday in good company and with good Spanish products. A magicall place where you can see the sunset while the Moon rises in the other side.
The best: hanging out all together under the Moonlight and see how my parents are able to adapt of each situation.

- In Napa Valley again. I couldn't miss the chance to bring my father to the Wine Country. Greg was our guide and we visited the Sterling winery and tasted some good wines there.
The best: the view from the telepheric of such dreamy location.

And now... alone again, but very happy.
What a nice feeling being loved...
