The Jelly Belly Factory

Hoy me he levantado con ganas de ver la fábrica de Jelly Belly.
Ayer estuve investigando, y resulta que una de las fábricas principales se encuentra en Fairfield, a una horita al norte de San Francisco.
Los Jelly Belly Bean son esas pequeñas bolitas de gelatina hechas de todo tipo de sabores: tienen desde sandía, chocolate, jalapeño, margarita o kiwi. Así hasta 50 sabores diferentes. Me ha recordado muchísimo a aquella vez que fui a cubrir un reportaje que hice sobre Chupa Chups, y me invitaron a la fábrica donde me hicieron un tour de excepción. Pues bien, este tour no ha sido tan bueno como el de Chupa Chups, pero teniendo en cuenta que la situación no era la misma, no ha estado mal.
Lo que me parece increíble es que cada 15 minutos hacen un tour, sin parar, durante 8 horas durante todos los días y siempre hay gente...
El tour es gratis, y te enseñan todo el proceso de producción. Desde que tratan el azúcar y lo mezclan con las esencias, hasta que pasa por los moldes y se empaquetan. Unos 40 minutos en total y al final... por supuesto, te dan unas bolsitas de regalo.
Con lo que me gustan a mí los caramelos...

Today I woke up with the feeling of going to the Jelly Belly factory.
Yesterday I was investigating and the place was just one hour far from here, in Fairfield, up to north of the city.
They have all kind of flavours, from margarita to jalapeño ones.
It brought me memories about the report I made from Chupa Chups (one of the most popular lollipops in the world) when I was working for a logistic company and they made me an exceptional tour as a journalist.
In this situation, I was just one more tourist, but the most amazing thing is that they make tours every 15 minutes, during 8 hours per day, non stop and there are always people.
The tour is free and they show you all the process of production, since they put the sugar until they pack the bags. And at the end, they give us some bags.... I love candy!
