Katia en Mission

Hoy, por fin, Katia se decidió y vino a pasar el día conmigo a la ciudad. Y se ha llevado una grata sorpresa al descubrir que SF no sólo se compone de colinas, el Golden Gate y el Fisherman's Wharf, sino que se puede disfrutar de otro tipo de vida, la mía, que ofrece mil y una sorpresas por descubrir.

Yo sabía que le iba a encantar mi barrio, porque ella es Mejicana y qué mejor barrio que Mission para recordar las raíces de la cultura latina.

Para rematar la sesión, fuimos a un restaurante de tapas españolas que yo no había probado y que está sólo a unas pocas calles de mi casa, y nos pedimos una buena paella, la primera que como en SF... y fue todo un éxito porque a Katia le apasiona la comida española, especialmente la tortilla de patatas...

Finally Katia came and visited me. And she was highly surprised that SF is more than a city with a few hills, the Golden Gate bridge or the Fisherman's Wharf, and discover my neighborhood and other little corners of the city that offers so much to discover.
I knew she would love it because she's Mexican, and the Mission is the latin area of the city.
And to have a complete cultural day, we went to have lunch to this Spanish restaurant, very close to my home, where we tried a wonderful paella (probably the most popular Spanish dish), the first paella I eat since I am in the city... and she loved it, like every other Spanish food she's been trying with me, especially the Spanish Omelette....
